Terrace and surrounding area has reason to boast  as home of the Kermodie or Spirit Bear. Not to mention the huge population of Bald Eagles - especially during the Ollichan run - just drive along the Skeena river and watch as the eagles put on an amazing show. Just take a drive or a hike in any direction and you are sure to come across some of Terrace`s wildlife.
